• 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 tblsp oil 
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (variation: zaatar)

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. 

Drain the chickpeas in colander and rinse well. Once water runs clear let chickpeas sit to drain out any excess water. 

Place chickpeas, oil, salt, garlic, smoked paprika (or zaatar) in a pan and arrange chickpeas to be in one layer. 

Bake for approximately 35-40 minutes, or until chickpeas are golden brown. 

Can be used as salad topping, hummus topping, or just as a straight up snack :) 

This method can be used with any spices that you like.
