Rabbi Shlomy and Chaya are dedicated to instilling a strong sense of belonging, pride & joy in our Heritage to each and every Jew, regardless of background, affiliation or level of commitment.

They opened Chabad of Paradise Valley in 2014 and have seen a community blossom. With over 150 attendees for High Holidays, First Fridays - monthly Friday night services and dinners - which have become a hallmark of the month for approximately 50 people. CPV also focuses on making Judaism meaningful and personal by offering weekly classes. Rabbi Shlomy also instructs three Educational courses throughout the year on topics like the Jewpernatural - The Jewish take on the evil eye and supernatural  Phenomenons , Kabbalah, Medical Ethics and more.

Soon after establishing Chabad in Paradise Valley they saw a major need to create a warm and welcoming community for young Jews to be able to see and feel the vibrancy of Judaism. In 2015, they launched JPhoenix, a community where young Jews can hang out, meet other Jews and find relevance in our rich Jewish heritage. Their greatest joy is seeing two young Jews walk into an event separately and walk out together.
